Entitas AS (org. no. 937 433 654, hereinafter “Entitas”) is a Registration Agent (RA) in the GLEIF Global LEI System, acting as agent for LEI issuer RapidLEI (Ubisecure Oy, LEI: 529900T8BM49AURSDO55). Entitas AS operates in accordance with the GLEIF Registration Agents Governance Framework (RAGF) v1.1.
Important: Entitas AS does not issue LEI records directly. Entitas acts as a Registration Agent on behalf of RapidLEI (Ubisecure Oy), a GLEIF-accredited LEI issuer (Local Operating Unit) since 2018. Services offered are: New registration (Issuance), Renewal, and Transfer of LEI records. All LEI records are searchable in the public GLEIF Global LEI Index at gleif.org.
The service is intended for legal entities (companies, organisations and similar) wishing to register or manage LEI records. Private individuals without business activity are not within the target group of the LEI system.
By placing an order you confirm that:
Authority granted to Entitas AS: By ordering you grant Entitas AS authority to apply for and manage a Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) on behalf of the legal entity. This authority is limited exclusively to activities necessary for the application, issuance, renewal, transfer, maintenance and administration of LEI records, and may not be further delegated or assigned to other parties.
Documentation requirements: You may be asked to provide a written Letter of Authorization (LoA) or Power of Attorney confirming that you are authorised to act on behalf of the legal entity. This is a requirement from GLEIF and RapidLEI.
Misrepresentation of authority — i.e. claiming to represent an entity without valid authorisation — may result in legal liability under Norwegian law.
A binding agreement is entered into when Entitas AS confirms your order by email. The confirmation contains order details, price and estimated delivery time.
Entitas AS reserves the right to reject orders if the identity of the legal entity cannot be verified, or if the information provided is incomplete or incorrect.
All prices are stated exclusive of value added tax (VAT) unless otherwise indicated. Current prices are shown on the website and in the order confirmation.
Entitas AS may change prices for future orders. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed and paid.
Normally under 24 hours for Norwegian limited companies — company data is retrieved automatically from the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises (Brønnøysundregistrene), so delivery usually occurs significantly faster. No time guarantee is given.
Delivery time is estimated and depends on processing time at LEI issuer RapidLEI and the availability of verifiable data from the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises. Entitas AS is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, or delays at GLEIF or RapidLEI.
The LEI record is delivered by email as a 20-character alphanumeric code. The record can be verified in the GLEIF Global LEI Index.
LEI records are valid for one year and must be renewed annually to remain active. Entitas AS sends automatic reminders 90, 60 and 30 days before expiry to the email address provided at the time of ordering.
Multi-year subscriptions: Where a customer purchases a multi-year LEI subscription, the renewal fees for the selected period are prepaid. The annual validation and verification requirements of the Global LEI System apply nonetheless. The customer remains responsible for ensuring that all of the entity’s reference data remains accurate, complete, and up to date throughout the renewal period, and may be required to confirm or provide updated information or authorisation documentation before a renewal can be completed.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the email address is kept up to date and that renewal is completed before the expiry date. A lapsed LEI record can be reactivated by renewal, but there may be a period during which the record is not valid in the GLEIF Global LEI Index.
Entitas AS is not responsible for consequences of an LEI record expiring, including blocked securities trading, rejected transactions or other regulatory sanctions.
The service is provided to legal entities in business. Consumer withdrawal rights do not apply to purchases made in the course of business.
Refund right (RAGF): Entitas AS will honour applicable refund obligations required under the GLEIF Registration Agents Governance Framework (RAGF) and applicable LEI ecosystem policies in force at the time of ordering.
To exercise the right to a refund, contact hei@entitas.no with your order number and reason within 60 days of the order date.
If Entitas AS is unable to deliver the service within a reasonable time (beyond the stated estimate + 10 business days), you may cancel the order and receive a full refund regardless of the 60-day period.
An LEI record is a legally binding identification of an entity in the GLEIF Global LEI Index. You are responsible for ensuring that all information included in the registration is correct. This includes:
Entitas AS verifies information against the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises, but is not responsible for errors in the source registry or incorrect information provided by the customer. Correction of incorrect information after issuance may incur an update fee (NOK 300).
The customer acknowledges that the entity’s reference data included in the LEI registration process may be shared with RapidLEI (Ubisecure Oy), GLEIF and other parties participating in the global LEI system, where necessary to issue, maintain, validate, or publish LEI records.
Certain reference data included in the LEI registration process is intended to be made publicly available through the Global LEI Index operated under the GLEIF framework. This may include: legal entity name, organisation number, registered address, country of registration, legal form, LEI status and renewal status. Personal contact information, authorisation documentation and payment information are not published in the public LEI index.
Entitas AS’s total liability to the customer is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order. Entitas AS is not liable for:
All content on entitas.no, including text, design and source code, belongs to Entitas AS or is used with permission. Copying or reuse without written permission is not permitted.
The LEI record itself and associated data in the GLEIF Global LEI Index are publicly available in accordance with GLEIF’s open data policy.
Entitas AS may update these terms. For material changes, existing customers will be notified by email no later than 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Norwegian law provides grounds for legal action in cases of misrepresentation, fraud or an unfounded claim of authority to act on behalf of a legal entity — including unauthorised applications for LEI records.
Any disputes shall be attempted to be resolved amicably. If this is not successful, Kristiansand District Court (Kristiansand tingrett) shall have jurisdiction.
